Ein federleichtes Gebilde aus Drahtgewebe schwebt im Raum, es ist mit Fäden eingespannt zwischen der Decke der Kapelle und einem unförmigen Gewicht, das mit Klebstreifen und Papier umwickelt ist. Dieses scheint die Struktur gewaltsam am Boden zu halten, damit sie nicht in den Himmel entschwebt. So formen sich im Drahtgewebe Spannungen und Dehnungen, „durch welche neue Räume sich erschliessen, jedoch auch aufgrund ihrer Fragilität jederzeit zerbrechen könnten“, wie die Künstlerin selbst erklärt. „Vulnerable Tensions“ nennt sie ihre Installation, was sich mit „verletzliche Spannungen“ übersetzen lässt: Die Installation lotet den Raum der temporären Kapelle aus und verbildlicht mit dem fragilen Drahtgewebe die Verletzlichkeit des Menschen in den Kräften und Spannungen innerhalb des sozialen und politischen Raumes. Die Installation lässt viel Gelegenheit für eigene Interpretationen und Gedanken – und wer durch sie hindurch aus der Kapelle in den Kirchenraum schaut, sieht vielleicht auch diesen mit etwas anderen Augen: Transformation findet überall statt.

A feather-light structure made of wire mesh floats in the room, it is stretched with threads between the ceiling of the chapel and a bulky weight wrapped in adhesive tape and paper. This seems to hold the structure forcibly on the floor so that it does not float away into the sky. Thus tensions and stretches are formed in the wire mesh, „through which new spaces open up, but which could also break at any time because of their fragility,“ as the artist herself explains. She calls her installation „Vulnerable Tensions“: The installation explores the space of the temporary chapel and uses the fragile wire mesh to vizualise the vulnerability of the human being in the forces and tensions within the social and political space. The installation leaves plenty of opportunity for one’s own interpretations and thoughts – and those who look through it from the chapel into the church room may see it with slightly different eyes: transformation takes place everywhere.
